Mapping and Petrophysics

Due to our extensive background in petrophysics and geological mapping, we are able to offer our clients many of the services that are often only found in the largest engineering consulting firms.  These services include:
  • Petrophysial Evaluation:  We can help you find additional value through the review of petrophysical well logs in order to find potential behind-pipe reserves and offsetting drilling locations which might otherwise be overlooked.  This capability can also be used to determine drainage which might prevent the drilling and completion of wells that merely share reserves with existing properties, thus preventing unnecessary capital expenditures.
  • Detailed Geologial Mapping:  Although mapping is normally not included in the determination of reserves and value, we have extensive mapping capabilities which allow us to determine reservoir geometry and thus determine appropriate well density and injection locoations in the case of enhanced secondary recovery operations.
